What to
visit in Málaga?
Castle of Gibralfaro; of the XIV century. Built to protect the Alcazaba, it is one of the most visited monuments in the city. It offers fantastic views and has the Interpretation Center for its visitors.
Alcazaba; it’s the fortress palace of the Muslim era located at the foot of Mount Gibralfaro and communicates with its castle by a walled corridor called La Coracha. It is next to the Roman Theater and in front of the Aduana building, a privileged enclave of cultures.
Roman Theatre; dates from the first century and recovered in the 50’s. It is one of the symbols of Roman Hispania and currently also offers plays.
Cathedral; the Cathedral of the Incarnation is one of the main buildings of the city. Built between the XV and XVIII centuries, it is a Renaissance jewel with initial Gothic and Baroque traces of the end of its construction, although it is unfinished.
